ODOR:
Fully ripe, golden mirabelle plums with vanilla and tonka beans and almost buttery aromas. Fine, fresh notes of lemon verbena, slightly ethereal with rosemary and tarragon.
TASTE:
The taste contains the bitter almond notes of the mirabelle plum paired with a slightly sweet aftertaste. The exciting sweet-sour interplay is rounded off with the acidic juice of the late-ripening seedling apple.
RECOMMENDATION:
The mirabelle gold is not only a pleasure when iced, it is also a tingling experience when warm. To do this, the bottle is placed in a warm water bath (55°C) for 30 minutes and then carefully opened with a hand napkin. A pleasure not only as an aperitif but also as an accompaniment to warm mirabelle plum crumble.
